The President reviewed the October events schedule, including fundraisers.  Noted that we will need parent volunteers for Spooky PTA Membership Dance.  Information will be posted on PT Board.

The President reviewed November events, including the holidays.  The next meeting of the PTA will be November 29.  There will be no meeting in December.

The President noted that the powerpoint for this meeting which includes the October and November events will be posted on PT Board.

Dr Hurt and Ms. Flowers made themselves available for questions.  The President asked how things are going at school.  Dr. Hurt indicated there are challenges but “Its going.”  The school district is still trying to hire more lunch monitors, but the school is unable to accept offers of parents to volunteer because RPS will not allow nonemployee visitors in the building.  There has not been any information shared by RPS yet about when visitation restrictions will be lifted or eased.  Dr. Hurt expects RPS is waiting to see how vaccination, boosters, and flu season start off before making a determination when to relax the current restrictions on activities.  Extended day is going well and there have been no incidents.

No other business mentioned by any attending member.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 pm.
